Peter focuses on investment sales consisting of industrial, light industrial (flex), medical, office and single tenant retail, multi-tenant retail and grocery anchored properties.

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

After graduating from Clemson University, Peter joined NAI Earle Furman in 1997 and specialized in Sales & Leasing. Peter now serves as Managing Director of Furman Capital Advisors. He has directly been involved brokering over 500 commercial real estate transactions with a total volume in excess of $750,000,000. Responsibilities include real estate acquisitions, dispositions, portfolio/asset management and loan workouts of various property types throughout the United States. Peter offers a unique combination of real estate and finance experience that has proven beneficial to Furman Capital’s clients. His financial experience adds value by analyzing and structuring transactions to best meet the client’s financial objectives. He provides clients with a full range of financial services including comprehensive financial modeling, due diligence analysis, lease abstracting, real estate valuations, loan sourcing and more. In 2003 Peter achieved the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation.  

Peter has been a partner with NAI Earle Furman since 2006 and currently serves on NAI Earle Furman’s Executive Committee. In addition, Peter was also a Co-Founder and currently serves on the Investment committee of Appian Investments, a real estate investment fund founded in 2015 to capitalize on property investments and generate compelling returns for its investors. Through a series of closed-end funds, Appian has originated or facilitated the acquisition and development of 30 real estate assets with aggregate investments exceeding $300 million to-date and will exceed $500 million of aggregate investments once its current fund, Appian Investments III, is fully deployed.
